Synopsis

A handbook created for practitioners working in health and well-being who want to build a thriving, sustainable practice, their way.

Whether they are new or have been in practice for years, many find marketing and running a business overwhelming.

Helen Harding simplifies the process and supports practitioners in making the right choices for themselves.

By creating their own recipe for their business based on their values, strengths, and the people they help, they can succeed where others fail.

Exercises and action points help them move through the process and address any mindset challenges as they go.

About the author

By (author) Helen Harding

Helen Harding is both a complementary practitioner and a chartered marketer. She spent over twenty years working in marketing and business before following her interest in personal development. Within four years Helen was earning a living as a practitioner, working three days a week but earning the equivalent of a full-time salary. Her passion for marketing and business never left her and she recognised that these were the areas her fellow practitioners struggled with most. She started to support her colleagues, helping them to build their own businesses, their way. Helen's unique approach blends her skills in personal development, marketing, and business specifically to support other complementary practitioners.

Helen's practical, simple to understand and implement approach is refreshing! This may be because she's been through the trials and tribulations of building a holistic business herself. What I love is she doesn't preach a set of rules. Instead she recognises my business and it's challenges are totally unique to me, giving gentle guidance through each topic with loads of examples to relate to. An easy read I've found hard to put down! I keep it next to my computer so I can dip into it when I need some much-needed inspiration.

This is such a practical and insightful book. I love how Helen takes you by the hand and guides you through how to make a success of your heart-centred business. I wish I had had a copy when I first started out 15 years ago. However, in a world of marketing that is fast changing, I learned so much. Helen is so knowledgeable because she has been there and done it in the same industry so really does know what she is talking about.

I am so impressed with the amount of easily digestible :) content in this handbook. You can dip in, refer, work-through it - whatever works for you. It is clear, well-structured and full of gems to get working on.

I'd say it is brilliant for anyone starting out - well worth the money. And it also works for anyone, like me, who has an established business but could really do with some pointers to help move forward.

So glad I bought it. It's one of the books that will be nearest my desk for easy reference.
